Mailchimp Wordpress Integration

We can only help you when using our plugin, Mailchimp for WordPress, to add the form to your site. Our plugin doesn’t work with the mc.js script and such so it sounds like you are still using their embedded form at this time. Yes, you can use elementor without it conflicting with the old pages/posts you had created. When creating the landing page, just create a page and click “Edit with Elementor“, so it’ll open with elementor editor always not with Classic/Gutenberg editor of WordPress. Don’t click Edit with Elementor on old pages, it’ll convert the page to elementor page.

There are 2 main steps to integrate MailChimp with WordPress. Firstly, register a MailChimp account. Then, create a signup form on your site so that users can subscribe and join your email list. After that, add this signup form to your WordPress blog. Step 1: Create a MailChimp account. In your WordPress admin panel, go to Plugins New Plugin, search for MC4WP: Mailchimp for WordPress and click “Install now” from the search results page. Alternatively, download the plugin from WordPress.org manually and upload the contents of mailchimp-for-wp.zip to your plugins directory. Activate the plugin.

If you want to add Ajax Mailchimp into your site/theme/plugin and are you looking for a simple way? Then you are in the right place! Using plugins on the WordPress website is of course not a problem until you are not overloading your website with a bunch of plugins. For such a simple task I didn’t prefer to use a plugin. You can add this quickly even if you haven’t better coding knowledge. So let’s get started!

Step 01:

Download Ajax Mailchimp from here

Step 02:

Open your theme/plugin functions.php or plugin-name.php file and past this code. Make sure file path is updated.

Step 03:

Open your file into the editor. Where you want to display the newsletter. I’m using into theme index.php file.

Step 04:

Now need to add your Mailchimp post URL into here

Replace this with your own Mailchimp post URL. Don’t remove the ”. Just paste the URL inside the url Text

Mailchimp Wordpress Integration
  • I followed all the instructions from the Mailchimp as I was trying to integrate my Word Press website for email signup pop up. But for some reason, Mailchimp is still giving me this message: “Hmm, we’re able to reach your site but we can’t find the mc.js script. Double check that the script tags are present on http://seoulweekender.com and try again.”
I made sure I followed all the instructions, disconnected site and repeated. But for some reason I am getting the same result. So let me reiterate what I have done: I opened my Dashboard at my Word Press , clicked Appearance, Theme Editor, header.php, and pasted my designated script right before </head>
I am currently using MC4WP Plugin and using Newspaper theme from Tagdiv.
I would greatly appreciate if someone could help me out! Thanks!
